The minute they got back to the castle, the handsome man went away again. And even though she didn’t mean to - didn’t want to - high up in that castle the girl just built herself another cave, hoping that he would save her again. But you can’t save me this time, can you?

It has been brought to my attention that this coming Monday (25th) is the 9th anniversary of A Hole in the World.
Before everyone starts sobbing about the terrible end to our beloved Winifred Burkle’s storyline, I figured we could turn this into something positive instead.
WINIFRED BURKLE APPRECIATION DAY!
Rules:
Everyone posts about why they love Fred. Has she inspired you or helped you in some way?
Graphics! Gifs! Fanfiction! If you can do any of these things, make sure you post on Monday!
Tweet Amy Acker! (twitter) She is a darling and it would be really lovely for her to see that even after all these years, people still adore her character.
Mentioning A Hole in the World is prohibited. PROHIBITED. That would ruin the whole point of this day of positivity! Also, no wank. Don’t like her? Don’t participate.
Tag everything with #fred appreciation day and it will be reblogged at fyeahamyacker, and make sure you hashtag #fredappreciationday when tweeting :)
Fred was a constantly evolving character who consistently proved that she not only walked with heroes, but was one. Although she never could find a word for herself within the group, it became clear she was the soul, an irreplaceable essence of the show, and it’s time to show we remember that!
